Murphys Law warns us that an air conditioner will fail during the first serious heat wave of the season. And so mine did. Or so it seemed. Nate and his partner arrived masked up (Thank You for taking health and safety seriously!) and listened intently to my description of the signs and symptoms of what I believed was a refrigerant leak. Nate undertook a full slate of diagnostic procedures. And through it all answered all my questions fully - I learned a lot about my AC unit! In the end none of the tests revealed a problem with the unit. It seems that during the peak of the heat wave a couple days ago my renters pushed the unit beyond it's functional limits. No refrigerant leaks, no clogged filters or collapsed ducts. Everything is in proper working order. I paid for the service call and their diagnostic labor - very fair prices. Both fellas were friendly, professional, and courteous. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, and provided me a good educational opportunity to boot. I recommend Comphel, and will call them in the future when my 20 year old AC unit finally does give out once and for all. Thanks Nate!!

Nate was on time, wore a mask (due to the Covid-19 Pandemic) and was able to trouble- shoot the problem for a very old heat pump that had stopped working. He replaced my thermostat, too, which was installed by a previous owner, and was not right for the unit. He was very helpful and got the job done in a timely manner.
